No, wait for the final notification by the government regarding the threshold limit of salary, i.e., Rs. 21,000/-. At present, only a draft has been introduced for accepting views from the public and labor organizations / employers group.

Hi,

I agree with all of you that two implementation notification notices are due:
1. ESIC revision of wages and
2. Maternity leave revision notification.

I expect both to be included in the same notification notice from Nov '16.

In our earlier gazette notifications, the enhancement of the wages limit under ESIC legislation is prospective, not retrospective. Hence, any gazette not published before 30.09.2016, can be treated as not implemented. You can continue to recover ESIC Contribution on Rs.15K only for the next six months.

Hi, myself Geeta Pandey,

I have been working as an HR trainee for the past year in Pithampur Sec-3 (Dhar), Madhya Pradesh. However, my problem is that I am the only employee on staff managing all manual and Excel work (cash sheet, salary sheet, attendance sheet, production report, GRN, etc.). The company actually started its production in January 2016, but there are no criteria for PF, ESIC, and other benefits. I only earn Rs. 7000 per month, but they show Rs. 12000 in the documents. Additionally, all employees are shown on a contract basis in the documents (which I incidentally discovered).

How can I work in a more systematic way, or should I consider leaving the job? Please suggest, as I am completely new to all of this.

Thank you.
