ESI has to be deducted for the total earnings which is <15,000 / =15000 of the employee shown in the payslip, irrespective of the over time payment which will not be paid on and along with monthly salary.

kindly clarify suppose a worker's gross salary is rs. 15000/- okn he is under the act but in any month he has earn rs 2000 as ot then his gross salary increase to 17000/- and the the ceiling has cross, my Qns is whether in this particular month esi will be deducted of the particular worker.
