Every day, the employees work for 6 to 8 hours. Some organizations allow 1st and 3rd Saturdays as HALF DAY, i.e., they work only for 4 hours, and the organization gives full pay on those days as well. So, if anyone applies for leave (even for 1/2 days), it shall be treated as a full-day CL. Any employee who is absent (without leave) on any working day will be considered absent on that day, with no pay given for the absent day.

If Saturday is your working day (half-day as per policy), then presence/attendance on Saturday will be considered as present for a full day. Similarly, absence on Saturday will be considered as absent for a full day.
