Well...There has to be a genuine reason for using a Cab.....instead of giving cab give them some allowance for late sitting which would handle their conveyance part this would not only save cost on Private Cab but would also discourage employees to sit late and work as they themselves have to hunt for Taxi which is a bit timely affair......

I thk IT company wrk like ths rite bz as i am also wrk in Software company but we dont proved any cab facility ppl shd trave own trasport, but times we will give comp-off to them for the extra hrs they wrked so tht they can tke paid off. coming to u r isure plz chk vid concerned department and check whether the employee shd stay late night is necesary.i thk if ther is any dead line of project we cant tell any thing so before chk vid the concerned TL about the priority of wrk and thn tke any decisions.

We should find out the balance in work allocation to all the concerned and payment according to the work done by hime not time consumed by him. Another work technicallity should be taken care and importance and involved intellectual should be consider.
It should not be bsed on the Boss Chamchagiri, It should be based on the work done. Then only we all as whole can develop our India's work culture like other countries Japan. etc.

I am totally agreed with the solution given by Mr. Bajaj. You cant stop late sitting immediately for that you require to prepare the Job description with the active consent of Fuctional Head. If he thought we need some extra our to meet deadlines then its OK otherwise no need to sit lately.
Second thing is also ery important that is to stop provide cab facility to ndividual employee. After office time you just fix a specific time for every route at a interval of 45 Minutes or 1 hour abd employee have togo not indvdually but in a Group.
