It depends on the topic/subject of the policy. If you want to implement it while employees are working from home (WFH), then it must be related to their work - I believe so. What is important is conducting online meetings with employees to brief them on the policy guidelines and ask for their input before finalizing it. As suggested by Parkhi Ma'am, implementation of any new policy during Work From Home (WFM) calls for due prudence, after taking into account all its pros and cons, including constraints and feasibility, etc. The most important aspect that needs to be taken care of is its practicability and the desired effect of the policy's objective.

Though initially, WFM was found to be a welcome change for many, of late the mood of involved employees is gradually changing in favor of working in an office environment due to obvious reasons. Various freelancers started analyzing the impact through surveys, collecting and studying the responses from employees and employers as well. Quite a number of employers also started feeling the advantages of WFM, especially those involved in the IT sector where they would have the advantage of remote login through cloud arrangements and net savings in day-to-day maintenance and establishment charges.
