I am a first year student in one of the leading B-schools n I am specializing in HR and at times I hear from my colleagues that HR is a waste of company's resources.Most of these people already have had corporate exposure.So keeping this in mind, I think you have got an opportunity to change people's perception and you should focus more on strategic HR policies rather than stereotypical ones, considering yours is a leading pharmaceutical, you guys can easily outsource policies like payroll,etc.
I know free ki advice hai, kaam ki lage toh le lo,otherwise plz ignore..
