I have queries, regarding the same. As per Factories Act,1948 it is also given those who are not held been workers, A bidi contractors or workers employed by him who are paid by piece work and who take their work home. But it seems the above definition directly or through contractor is contradiction, and who is an Independent contractor?. What is that If an employer has no control over the work done by the employers, they are not workers?
