In my company the timings are 9.00 a.m to 5.30 p.m We'll excuse 15 mins late coming. In the month end we'll calculate the no. of late coming (after 9.15 a.m) and late going days(after 7.00 p.m). we'll calculate the difference between them. if the diff is more than 4 i.e from count 5 half day salary will be cut down.
On the busy schedule of product delivery many of the employees works for late hrs, that time mgt will take the decision for excusing for the late coming but that is for that schedule time period only.
Totally it depends on your company work mode, accordingly put some rules to bring sincerity in employees.
any of points catchable means imply,:icon1:
all the best

Hi Everybody,
All of your thought process are appreciated but in a Software professional timing are taking into account (except Infosys, TCS, Satyam...) please understand I am talking about the timesheet hours because time sheets are necessary in this profession. Why not thing about the Flexi timing? where there is target defined and map that to performance.
