Dear Anamik,
25th & 26th July, 2018 were working days. Then how come your previous employer paid you salary for the days you have not worked? That means you joined your current organisation on 25th July, 2018 and earned salary from 25th. You also enjoyed 2 days salary benefit from your previous employer without working with them. Now because you are facing problem for PF transfer due to overlap of your exit & joining date you are worried. This you should have thought before accepting 2 days extra salary from your previous employer or should have brought to their notice for excess payment of your salary and refund the amount, which you have not done.
You may request your present employer in writing to deduct your 2 days salary and show your joining date as 27th July, 2018 to enable them to amend PF records accordingly.

I already requested them and HR had initiated the correction from 25th july to 27th july but the legal team said it should remain unchanged and there wont be any problem because my current organisation doesn't fall under dual employment policy.
Also, my current company is helping me in PF transfer.
Now, the only thing is if i switch to my new company in future then they might not select me if i tell up-front or i might face issue in next company Background verification.
i am not getting any solution to this problem.
