Dear Devika,
If you are a manager there is no doubt that you do not fall under the purview of Induatrial Disputes Act. You also have not disclosed whether why do they have terminated you.. Means for cost cutting or business closer or any other reason. Also if other people who are terminated are not on your post and if they fall under the catagory of workman they can raise their voice against it.. The more the people the better and strong the case will become.
Also please see your appointment letter and see as to how much notice period you are entitled to. You can approach Civil court for your dues. Most of the time i advise in such cases to send a legal notice first and my experience says that in 95% cases the case gets settled within 2-3 months. Now a days no Company wants to get into litigation and think it better to settle with other party.
As you discribed if employees of workman catagory are terminated for any reason without giving proper notice and compensation, it may become a headache for the company if those people decide to go to Labour court. So if possible please get united and take help of Labour Commissioner of your area.

were you caught in any unethical content??? like visiting Restricted sites on Net, any kind of misconduct which leads to termination
before taking any legal action make sure everything is clean from your side.
there are software introduced and many companies have purchased it where we can trace work flow from a particular pc whichever site you visit, whatever document you prepare, downloading everything is traced.....
i suggest talk to your hr

First go through your employment terms and conditions... accordingly as Mr. Anil rightly said suggest you to meet your local/regional labour commissioner/inspect with your written complain against your employer and also to your local police by forming a team who faced the same problem along with you.

I am vidyasagar bhalke ,employee of MGNREGA social audit coordinator of Taluka .panchayat Humnabad dist.bidar regarding of my 23 months salary and job req still not getting any response to my request .already I sent letter regarding of allegation of corruption and misappropriation of fund to Chief minister Of Karnataka and Mr. M Moudgil Mgnrega Dairector in bidar zila Panchayt.but dept enquiry for allegation of corruption and misappropriation and still not consider of my salary and job req,as already told cheaf minister and mr.M Moudgil in reference letter to Zila Panchayat. consider his salary and job req but Zila Panchayt bidar MGNREGA section worker Chitralekha patil and Mr.Baswnappa patil and Mr.Devadas district social audit co-ordnetor misplace this reff letter wituout cheif sectary Zila Panchayat Bidar knowdlege. sir MGNREGA Ombudsman Zila Panchayt bidar sent notice my Home Adrss to attend with Taluka all 33 Gram Panchayt misuse of found MIS report and documents for above matter on Date 15/02/2014 .So please I kindly
