Recently I Have Joined In A IT Software Company As A HR .In Our Organization ,Recently Some Employees Left The Job Without Any Prior Intimation To Management. Now Onwards We Started A New Policy To Submit The Original Documents from New Joinee As A Security Purpose For Our Organisation and the originals will be returned back to the employees on separation.
So,I need a Format Regarding Submission Of Original Documents From New joinee and also Looking Format on Behalf of Company after receiving all Original documents from the employee.
Please Provide The Same Format Which We Can provide The New Employee For Their Original Submission Of Documents.

First thing please understand that you cannot retain original documents as security deposit.
Yes you can ask employees while joining to produce all originals for verification but beyond that retention will not be good in law.
The employee is the owner of educational certificate.
The employer has no right to take this property under his control in a manner that employee cannot use his own property.
Tomorrow he may want to do higher study, then employer may deny the originals etc.
As HR person find out root cause for high attrition rates.
Is pay package lower than competing firms?
Is working environment poor that people want to run away?
So put on your thinking cap along with other senior employees to find how to retain employees.

Keeping original documents lead to breach of bonded labour act. also this is not a good practice. if attrition is high, find the reasons, put across to the management and then solve it , if management approves to go ahead.

Dear,
You intend to do act an illegal. An HR personnel has no right to keep orginal docs of an employee to retain forcefully in the organization. Even the same thing is applicable to you also. You are also an employee of the organization. How u can treat like a owner of organization.
Think before Act.

Dear All,
Thanks for your response and advice. We/me specifically do not intend to jeopardize anybody or their future. We will definitely consider consulting Law advice before forcing such practice.
Thanks,
