Hi, Question: I want to be sure that my relieving letter from my latest company is genuine.
Reason for doubt:
1. I was hired as an Interpreter even though I failed the test which was the 1st criteria to get on the floor.
2. After 3 months they asked me to leave on the basis of a test which I failed 3 months ago.
Now the relieving letter that they sent me is different than the other relieving letters. The date of joining is mentioned and the relieving date too is, however the letter does not have any company stamp and the ink is faded.
Please help me with some insights on this.
Thanks

Normally the relieving letter has to be on the letterhead of the establishment giving the details. But if you feel the relieving letter is suspect, you may not use it elsewhere. But when it has been given to you formally there is less chance of it being spurious. Every organisation has its way of doing things, is it done here this way, pl try to ascertain.
