Please note Maternity Leave under The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 is increased to 26 Weeks w.e.f 01/04/2017.Similarly Maternity Benefit has been enhanced to 26 Weeks from 20/01/2017 under ESIC.
Women Employees who are under Maternity Leave as on 31/03/2017 are also eligible for enhanced Maternity Leave of 26 Weeks
