As a Trainee, you are NOT responsible or accountable for any task you did. However, \'confirmation\' on an appointment means your are responsible and accountable for the appointment you hold and your experience start from this date.

Your experience in the company starts from the day of your joining and not from the day of your confirmation.

Dear
It's depend on What your offer/apptt. letter says about the training period. But logically it should count from the date of joining since you have been on the rolls of your firm from the day you stepped in there and probably you got your salary or stipend from that date only. Many co. have their rules saying that " after successful completion of the training period, you will be confirmed or regularised in a certain scale of pay" etc. Pl. go thro' your terms & conditions and your personnel policy.

Dear Sir,
For experience certificate purpose, they will count your service from Date of Joining as Trainee. They will mention the same in your certificate stating that you have joined in service as Trainee from......date and confirmed in service on ........date as ............designation, like that ....
Regarding internal promotions etc. they will treat the confirmations date as date of joining.

Dear Chetan,
As per My knowledge and experience, in the experience certificate i.e., re-leaving letter the date of confirmation is considered as date of joining. one of my colleague working in AXA Business Services its an MNC. Recently resigned the job and then we came to know that the date of confirmation is considered as the DOJ.
thanks & Regards,

dear Chetan,
You have to refer your letter of appointment what it stipulates about period of training and release of salary or stipend. If nothing to this effect is stipulated therein your experience will be counted wef your doj.
