Can anybody suggest me the source from where i can get the data about attrition & techniques of calculating attrition..

Attrition can be calculated in multiple ways
Simplest is No: of resignations in a year divided by Total head count of the year beginning
More realistic is No: of resignations in a year divided by( Average of the head count at beginning and end)
OR
No: of resignations in the year divided by (Head count at the beginning of year plus recruitments in the year)
