Am having 4.5 years of Work experience in well known MNC in Hyderabad, but recently i have resigned in month of FEB 2015 due to my accident.

It tooks me 2 months of time to get recover, as i was jobless so i thought to move Dubai on a visit & look for a better opportunity. Now am here in dubai from last 70 days but am still unlucky to find the better opportunity here in dubai due to Hot Summer & Ramzan month.

Now i got 6 months of gap in my professional carrier, am feeling very sad & i dont want to loose my carrier ahead.

Can you guys suggest once i reach hyderabad, shall i make any fake experience certificate for SIX months or shall i hunt for a new job showing as 6 months of gap.

As per my knowladge, no company will give me a hike or senior promotion level as i got a gap of SIX months. So am thinking shall i manage a Fake WORK EXPERIENCE LETTER for six month? so i could get good hike as well as a senior position.

Please guys help me out what should i do now. I dont want to lag behind, as i have more 17 days to get back in Hyderabad.

Dear Syed,

Never ever think of fabricating experience certificate. Fake it till you make it need not be true everywhere.

What kind of job did you do? What was your designation?

Your career gap is out of medical reasons. Therefore, while attending job interview, keep ready all the medical documents. Should interviewer asks about the career gap, produce it.

You have written that "As per my knowladge, no company will give me a hike or senior promotion level as i got a gap of SIX months". This is your perception. It may not come true. Job candidates are selected on their past performance and potential. Therefore, remove this negative thought from your mind. Attend the interview with complete confidence. You should pose that you are one of the fittest candidate for the position.

By the way, just because of your accident, you should not have resigned from the job. You could have requested the company to keep you on the roll. If your performance was good then possibly HR of that MNC would not have allowed you to go. In fact HR cajoles to retain quality employees. Therefore, your resignation has aggravated the situation. Employees do meet with accidents. But that does not mean that accident should derail employee's career itself.

P.S.: - Whatever your designation or nature of job is, my humble request is to work on your English. Your post is replete with grammatical mistakes, spelling mistakes, informal language etc.

What learned member Shri Dinesh has told is correct.

No faking experiences.

Don't think of the wrong way.

You had an accident and will be having medical documents which can be produced to explain gap of 6 months in your CV.

Also remember if you are caught out using fake experience then you will face trouble in getting jobs after that.

Prepare well for interviews.

Make a truthful CV which highlights qualifications,achievements,cost savings etc.

CV should be made in proper English-spelling mistakes,no SMS language and crisp.

Please avoid a tendency to make such errors.Read what you written before posting things on a public forum.

For all you know a potential employer may be reading this post and he will not be impressed with such basic grammatical errors in a public post on a professional forum.

This term 'fake' has become a normal word with younger, modern generation. They fake their profile in social networking sites to attract people. They 'fake' their degrees to boost up their job opportunities. They 'fake' their relationships to get noticed.. Oh my God... where the world is tumbling towards to !!! By faking the profile, do you think you will get away with it. These days, HR departments keep their eyes and ears upon and on the slightest doubt, cross check your qualifications and experience. If you are caught again you will come to this forum to bail you out somehow. Instead, you can be very well honest about the whole situation, about your accident, searching for opportunities in Dubai etc etc. You have evidence to prove all these things, whereas if you fake your experience, can you prove that ?? Dont do any rush job. Be honest or else, the so-called 'faking' will lead to faking your illness, sickness, absence, customer service, sales calls etc etc. Your life will become another 'fake', a poor role model for your children for your siblings, your colleagues and your team members. Faking is nothing but negative attitude... Be positive in life ! Be honest and be transparent....

Mr.Dinesh has given right and perfect advice,. I too support this. Do nt think even dream of any fabrication which definitely leads to your career complicated and you may suffer more. No problem. Not necessary that you should be in continuous services but you should be prompt and sincere to your prfessional.

I am not sure IF the FULL & COMPLETE import of what the earlier members have mentioned/suggested has registered into your head.

Consider what you mention as the result of faking your experience: "so i could get good hike as well as a senior position".

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Your MAY actually get a good hike & a senior position.

Now let's move forward.......you say you have 4.5 yrs experience. So you also ought to know that Joinees @ your level for sure would be subjected to Background Checks. And more often than not, the results of BCs come after the person has already joined & on the job for some time.

And that's WHEN you are bound to get hit.......now-a-days, it's no more a matter of 'if' but a matter of 'when' with the BC process getting more stringent & thorough.

Remember Satyam Ramalinga Raju? What you intend to do & what he did only has the difference of scale & level.

Hope you get the point.

Now the choice is YOUR'S.

Enjoy the fruits of faking NOW & pay for it LATER.......OR........find OTHER ways to handle the situation NOW with some tough days ahead & have 'peace of mind' @ ALL STAGES of your future career.

I would like to add that any faking does not pay in long run and if repeatedly done, the person becomes victime of bad qualities and behaviours for which one may gain in short run, but not in the long run.
Now a days, we come accross individual such cases very frequently.
Historical cases also do take place, once in a while, like that of a large Indian Public Sector Company, now in the fortune 500 List, a group of Middle, Senior and Top Level Executives had to resign, abandon and face disciplinary and criminal actions,.many years after submission of fake certificates.
In today's modern world, the need of the hour is to acquire and
practice personal good qualities like patience, crourage, honesty etc. which not only make a person stronger, but also help over come many obstacles and make a life satisfied..

Don't think about fake experience certificate to be good, bad or worse, that can prove to be the worst to mar your career once for all, if detected on verification by any employer.
Only your honest move towards your career development would prove to be rewarding, rather than even thinking about any fake experience certificate.
