The prime training would be to provides basic information for working safely with laboratory chemicals and equipment. Laboratory safety information and outlines how the department complies with the Gov.t & Health standard

Environmental Health & Safety

Providing technical support, information and training, consultation, and periodic audits of health and safety practices and regulatory compliance. Eg: general safety, chemical safety, radiation safety, and biosafety and sanitation.

* Ensure laboratory workers, including staff, students and volunteers, attend Laboratory Safety Training.
* Ensure laboratory workers understand the potential health and physical hazards of the chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory;
* Explain proper and safe procedures for handling, under all circumstances, the hazardous substances used in the laboratory;
* Provide appropriate engineering controls and personal protective equipment to allow laboratory workers to work safely: and
* Provide laboratory workers with the location and availability of the Departmental Chemical Hygiene Plan and reference materials, including material safety data sheets.
* Review and approve work with particularly hazardous substances.

Safeguarding Lab resources from unauthorized access, misuse or removal is a duty of all faculty and staff. In laboratories, this obligation rests primarily with the head of the dept & Principal Investigator; however, all laboratory personnel have a responsibility to take reasonable precautions against theft or misuse of materials, particularly those that could threaten the public. Any extraordinary laboratory security measures should be commensurate with the potential risks and imposed in a manner that does not unreasonably hamper research.

Hope the above helps.

You can reach me at 9980 636 121 or 990 255 4115 for any discussion or if you outsource training.

Dear Mr. Chinmay Purohit,
1) Do mind if you could let me know, are you the one who is going to TRAIN -LOGISTIC DEPARTMENT & LABORATORY STAFF?
2) If yes, had you ever interacted with them and evaluated issues @ workplace related to their domain/trade
3) Did you ever tried to differentiate between DOMAIN/TRADE & INDIVIDUALS(HUMAN BEINGS) as you wrote, you are in need of KEY AREAS for training LABORATORY & LOGISTIC STAFF?
4) Also, try your best to answer yourself "as why do you want to train people". This will give complete picture for your query.
Do believe in acquiring INFORMATION - RESEARCH ORIENTED that will help you to enhance your KNOWLEDGE BASE.
Anyways, there are members to support, in case, if you are unable to locate relevant information.
Forgive me, if i am wrong...
With profound regards
