Greetings for the day,
it is informed that the cut-off date of mandatory seeding of Aadhar has been reviewed by EPFO and due to pandemic of COVID-19, it has been decided that the monthly ECR shall be allowed to be filed only for those members, whose Aadhar numbers are seeded with respective UAN and verified w.e.f 01.09.2021 vide circular no BKG-27/7/2020-G/Pt.file Dated 01.06.2021. Therefore it is advised that the task of seeding Aadhar with UAN and verification must be completed at the earliest without waiting for the last date to ensure that the Aadhar is seeded for all contributing members, to enable them to avail uninterrupted services of the EPFO and to avoid any inconvenience in future. All employees may also be made aware of the same and advised to seed their Aadhar directly through the online e-KYC facility available on the member portal and UMANG APP or through the employer immediately. Notifications enclosed.
EPFO in its stride to go paperless has added one more feather in the process of approval of Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) by extending facility for uploading the pdf at the Employer Portal.
Follow the steps as below:-
Download the PDF generated on DSC registration & get it printed on company addressed letterhead.
Get it signed by authorized signatory (3 specimen signatures) and approved by the Employer.
Further get it scanned in original size & color. Besides that download Form-5A (Return of ownership) latest updated online, get it printed and ensure Employers' signature, Name, Designation are duly completed in all respect, if any change occurred in ownership. Ensure the size of the document is less than 500 KB and is of single page only.
Now upload the scanned pdf as per point no.3 above, on employer portal by clicking on the "Submit" button. Notification Enclosed..
