Hi all,

My employer has seeded an incorrect employer under my UAN. However, the day they entered, they ended the term and added my correct employer. The issue is my actual employer is not tagged as my current employer, but they can see the bad record seeded earlier as my current employer. This is hindering any kind of transfer from the previous PF account to the current PF account or any kind of transaction for that matter.

Can someone please suggest or help me here? Thanks in advance.

Warm Regards

This can be resolved by the CPFC (Central PF Commissioner) sitting at Delhi, mentioning the address below. You may write to him stating your actual record and mentioning the wrong information added under your UAN. This is the fastest way to resolve your query.

Dear Arijit,

Before writing to CPFC, you need to have all the details of your employment:

1. The Name of your First Employer:
2. Your Date of Joining (DoJ) with the first employer:
3. The Establishment Code of Employer:
4. Your EPF & EPS Number with the first Employer:
5. Your Last Working Day with the first employer.

You should have the above details for all your employment. You should know under which authority your case/cause of action is pending. Then lodge a grievance in EPFiGMS on the EPFO portal.
