A few days back, I claimed online for PF withdrawal, and it was settled within 3 days. I received a confirmation message from the EPFO department, but the amount was not credited to my account even after 10 days of settlement.

Upon checking my EKYC updated in UAN, I discovered that my account number was mentioned incorrectly in the UAN portal. I have requested my employer to update my account number.

Now, I seek your advice. Will I receive the amount since the settled option is still showing in the PF claim status? Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Dear Ravi,

I would suggest that you speak to the concerned clerk in the PF office and check the status of the claim to see if the money bounced back. If it has, then you have to fill out a physical PF claim form and write a letter explaining the situation, as you will not be able to upload your claim online.

Hi Mr. Ravi,

You wouldn't get your claim amount as it has bounced back due to the wrong account. After getting approval for your EKYC related to the bank from your employer, you need to fill out the withdrawal form again. Then, submit it physically to EPFO. If your EKYC related to Aadhar and the bank is verified by your employer, and your Aadhar is linked with the working mobile number, then you can file your claim online on the unified member portal.
