As quoted earlier I am working as a HR generalist for my organisation taking care of payroll, insurance, MIS reporting and attendance.
This year onwards some sort of employee engagement activity i would be taking up. For that I require some ideas/ model on the above focus areas what can be implemented so that employee can be benefited out of it.
FOR EG under Career Development- I have decided to arrange for Career Development Session for all employees in our Organisation. The Facilitator would be one of our Leader from Organisation. 1). The most important skill every professional must embrace and practice to live a PEACEFUL LIFE.
2). Its starts with SELF MANAGEMENT where one has to understand himself, a) CALIBER/ABILITIES, b) STRENGTH & WEAKNESS C) PEERS, CO-WORKERS and lot more
3). TIME & STRESS MANAGEMENT, INTRA & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS contributes to MANAGING and LIVING a BETTER PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL life where EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE plays a VITAL ROLE.
4). Make your employees to DELIVER their BEST within 8 BUSINESS HOURS and FOCUS on the CORE ACTIVITIES rather mixing everything with everything.
5). BUSINESS DAYS - FIVE DAYS A WEEK can also help your employees to enjoy their WEEKENDS with their FAMILY MEMBERS.

2). Majority of the problems at workplace is either due to LACK OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION or NO COMMUNICATION. Train your employees "HOW TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY" and "WHAT EXACTLY NEED TO BE COMMUNICATED". Your employees must believe in EFFECTIVE & POSITIVE COMMUNICATION and FOCUS on the CORE rather just wasting their TIME in SHARING OR EXCHANGING INFORMATION, which cannot contribute POSITIVELY.

An organisation must disclose and make all their employees understand about COMPANY POLICIES & OPERATIONAL STRATEGIES. It must be a FAIR DEAL. See to that, to what extent your management can help your employees to UNLEASH THEIR HIDDEN TALENT and promote the same.
Since i am not an expert, probably i had missed few points. I keep sharing many things with my employees because its my job to not only train my employees, but also to MENTOR and COACH for OUTSTANDING RESULTS/PERFORMANCE. I shall post it in the nearest future. Please do share your views.
