Please help me with some activities on Stress Management and Time Management that can be done with students. This is a soft skills class, so I need activities where students speak a lot to help develop their communication skills, while focusing on the topics of stress management and time management.

Dear Ekamjyot,

I congratulate you on your first post in Cite HR.

It is rather surprising that this is the only post in over five years. You have not given your background. Are you a soft skills trainer yourself? In that case, you could have shared your thoughts first.

Conducting a session on stress management and time management together is acceptable. However, you mentioned wanting to include communication skills as well. In my opinion, communication as a soft skills topic can be addressed in a separate session.

Please structure your program around the following questions:

1) How many urgent tasks does a participant typically handle in a day?
2) What activities are crucial for an individual?
3) How often do individuals prioritize important tasks only?
4) Why do tasks escalate to the urgent level?
5) Do individuals effectively prioritize their tasks?
6) How many tasks, not belonging to them, does an individual tackle in a day?
7) Would individuals confidently decline tasks for valid reasons?
8) Do individuals find satisfaction in the tasks they perform?
9) What are the common stress symptoms experienced?
10) What is Eustress?
11) How frequently do people report feeling fatigue?
12) Introduce them to Stephen Covey's four-quadrant matrix.

Additionally, incorporate relevant case studies into the session.

Hello friend,

Are you teaching a class in school or college, as you are mentioning the requirement for stress management, time management, and communication activities for students?

V.Raghunathan Sir is providing a good framework for starting a program. The more you try, the more you learn by yourself. This is true.

I just want to say that you must know what you are doing - whether it is a one-time event or if you truly want to continue this for students on a monthly basis.

I can share some helpful PowerPoint presentations that I have learned from and shared with friends who enjoy conducting such training in schools, colleges, offices, and communities.

1. [Time Management Tools For Everybody PPT](http://pptclub.blogspot.com/2014/10/pptclub-time-management-tools-for-everybody-powerpoint-presentation.html) - This presentation offers various methods for time management suitable for all levels. It shares many famous tools that provide knowledge from beginner to professional levels of time management application.

2. [Time Management by Rajiv Bajaj](http://pptclub.blogspot.com/2014/10/pptclub-time-management-powerpoint-presentation.html) - This presentation covers various aspects of time management concepts and goal setting, essential for professionals.

3. [Habit 3 - Put First Things First - Of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey PPT](http://pptclub.blogspot.com/2014/11/pptclub-habit-3-of-highly-effective-people-stephen-covey-powerpoint-presentation.html) - This main presentation mentioned by V.Raghunathan Sir focuses on developing the habit of putting first things first, demonstrating how to prioritize and introducing Stephen Covey's Time Management Matrix of 4 Quadrants.

4. [Stress Management for Everybody PPT](http://pptclub.blogspot.com/2015/09/pptclub-stress-management-for-everybody-powerpoint-presentation.html) - This presentation discusses the origins of stress, the Stress Warp, identifying sources of stress, healthy and unhealthy coping mechanisms, Mayo Clinic's 4 A's for dealing with stressful situations, and stress management strategies.

5. For communication skills presentations, please visit the following link: [All Communication Skills PPT](http://pptclub.blogspot.com/search/label/Communication%20Skills). As V.Raghunathan Sir clearly states, it is a soft skill, so please do not mix it up. If these resources do not cover all your needs for students, you can also search on Citehr. You know best what your students require.

One piece of advice I would like to share is to decide and choose according to your level to avoid confusion and pressure. Confusion can lead to disinterest among students, so it's crucial to have a good understanding and fundamental knowledge first.

There are many experts on Citehr like V.Raghunathan Sir, Dinesh Divekar Sir, Simhan Sir, John in Oz Sir, Atul Sharma. By reading their posts, you can learn a lot.

Remember, a teacher never stops being a student. Learning is a good attitude and essential.

Hoping you can make the most of this help. Best wishes to you, friend.

Binu
