Respected seniors,
I am working as an HR Executive in a bpo since June 2016. It's an startup company.
So, I need to perform limited functions of HR like-
* Taking final round of interview of candidates referred by consultancy
* Joining formalities and induction of new candidates
* Preparation of various kinds of HR letters like offer letter, appointment letter, confirmation letter, increment letter, termination letter, warning letter for various reasons etc.
*Preparation of salary slips and salary breakup for different employees. But it doesn't include PF, ESI etc calculation.
* Preparation of HR policies, rules and regulations etc
I am getting very less learning opportunities because I was a fresher at the time of joining and there is no senior person to guide me. I want to learn more functions of HR especially in payroll management, bt I am not able to learn here. Also I am facing stability issue here, delayed salary every month.
because I have limited knowledge for HR executive functions I don't know whether I will get HR jobs like here or not, if I decided to switch.
Is my experience of 1year is going to be waste??? Should I need to start somewhere else as beginner.
Please guide me with your valuable points, it would be really helpful for me.
Regards,
Kavita

Hello Kavita,
You are facing problem in managing HR and Payroll related activities in your organisation and you fear things will worsen even more.
I wanted to know whether you are using an HR software for your HR related activities or not, because functions of HR can get complex and tedious sometimes and Processing Payroll has time related restrictions attached to it.
In this case these problem you are facing, you need to simplify the tasks you are performing. If you are performing everything manually just on excel sheets them definitely you wont be able to keep up with the pace.
I would advice you to talk to your reporting person or the Director of your institution and your should go for using a software for this purpose.
