I have a 6 years of BPO experience and wanna careerchange in HR.
I cant plan MBA now but in near future....howver isit possible to start a career in HR without prior exp.pls suggest.

With out MBA Graduate & prior experience I think as it is quite difficult. At the same time I can't tell as impossible too.
If by luck you get any opportunity then you shall kick start your career. Even for that you should learn HR skills of all core HR subjects.

well jeevarathnam is right without mgmt. study it is quite tuff to make HR carrier, but as u r intrsted in HR field i guess u r collectng knowledge too in this field, go through this citeHR every topic, it'll give u practicle experience and also u shud go through the field of HR in which u wnt to take entry. I guess Recruitemnt will be easy for u, and u can learn it very soon, also ifu don't wnt to go for MBA course then u can do any crash course related to the field,

As such it would be difficult to start a career in HR without any degree or experience in HR. But it is not impossible. You can join any company or Placement consultancy at a FRESHER level and you will definitely find your way.

Below are my suggestions for a successful career transition to HR
Experience : You have good experience to BPO industry and you can definitely use it to start your HR career. Few things you can do are:
1) If you are still working with some BPO then try and take a internal transfer to the HR Recruitment team (Its OK if they offer you an entry level role there). You have knowledge on what kind of profile one should have in BPO and with this, you can pick up really fast in recruiting people for this industry.
2) In the event you are not working at this point, try and find a job in Recruitment Consultancy which specializes in BPO sector. Trust me there are many waiting to give you a quick exposure. All you need to do is go with a learning attitude.
Education: : You will need to start with some formal education in HR. Few things you can do are:
1) Start with a part-time weekend OR distance learning HR diploma course with a good institute. This can range from 1 to 2 years. Few good institutes which provides both are Welingkars, NMIMS, Symbiosis.
2)Another option is to go for a satellite course which is offered by Tier 1 colleges like XLRI and IIM Lucknow. Any of this course can help you gain knowledge in all possible areas of HR without compromising on much of your time.
This can be a start and in future you can shape it as you want. Remember a good start is half done. All the best!
