Dear all,

Can we have an in-house trainer for conducting fire, first aid, and evacuation trainings? If so, what should be his qualification/certification? How many trainings per year as per the Factories Act? Please advise.

Dear friend,

The trainer should be well-qualified and experienced with a Trainer certification in the specified area. When seeking a trainer, it is advisable to mention the type of industry, location, number of employees to be trained, and any other relevant details. Providing these details will help the potential trainers understand your needs and respond more effectively.

The Factories Act does not specify the number of training courses to be conducted. It is your responsibility to assess the training needs and take appropriate action.

If you require the services of professional trainers, please send your requirements to for a prompt response.

Friends,

I have been asked to initiate and kick-start the "environmental health safety" division. We are OHSAS certified and specialize in chemicals and formulations.

I have planned to hire:

1. An in-house trainer - to ensure training is not an issue and costs are included in CTC (Hyderabad).
2. Two individuals with safety diplomas to be assigned to specialty chemicals and formulations - one in Hyderabad and one in Bidar.

The trainer needs to have certifications in fire fighting, evacuation, and first aid. Safety engineers must have a background in chemistry to assist in conducting HIRA, JSA, PSA, and ensuring OHSAS compliance.

I am a lead auditor myself (QMS and OHSAS). Please recommend individuals with genuine enthusiasm. Growth and freedom to express/experiment are guaranteed.
