Hi all,
I am the person handling HR activities at the firm, Automobile. Kindly suggest information relating to various employee motivational activities that do not exceed our cost control system. Currently, we are organizing some athletic and sports activities, and now we are looking for more attractive options for our employees.
Thank you.

Dear Hruniridehonda,
I conduct training programs on "Employee Engagement." Employee engagement depends on employee motivation. I have done extensive reading on this subject.
It is a myth to believe that some games improve employee engagement. It is physical engagement and not necessarily mental engagement. There are cases wherein, notwithstanding the physical games at the workplace, mental disaffiliation remained as it is.
Employee motivation is a very complex issue. If some games were to improve motivation, then there would be no need for an MBA course. I have given a list of the factors on which employee motivation depends in one of my earlier posts. Click the following link to refer to it: https://www.citehr.com/427885-motiva...ew-policy.html
However, however bad a company may be, employee motivation depends on the inspiring manager. There is no substitute for the inspiration of the manager.
If you wish to engage in any consulting activities on Employee Engagement, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
