Hi!

We have around 50 staff in my office. I need a few ideas for employee motivation. Mine is a broking firm, so we do such activities on Saturdays only. I had conducted a picnic thrice last year, and now I'm planning for Monsoon trekking. Other than this, we celebrate employees' birthdays and other occasions like Diwali, Makar Sankranti, Holi, etc. I also used to send good morning emails including stories or thoughts.

Excluding this, can anyone help me with some other activities or games which I can have once a month in my office?

The activity mentioned by Amee can be extended to augment business functions. For example, a quiz program for the marketing team may discuss and answer new marketing developments in the industry. I would prefer any activity to not only be for fun but also add value to the organization's business.

Dear All,

Ameen has a detailed list of activities, and it's really good. One suggestion is that if we can add some charity-related activities too, it would help (e.g., Blood donation camp, Orphanage/Old age home visits, visiting schools, etc.). Any more activities would only add to the list, but there needs to be a work-life balance, or else this effort will fizzle out.

Regards,
Chakradhar.

Hi friends,

I thank you all for your wonderful suggestions. Also, I'll appreciate if any of you can help with a social event, such as visiting an orphanage or an old age home.

Actually, I'm trying to arrange the same for quite some time, but I have not yet been able to do that. I request you to suggest some places nearby Mumbai. What do I need to do to arrange this for my staff?

Regards
