We are starting a manufacturing factory for glass pipe production. Could someone please tell me what necessary licenses I need to apply for? I am preparing documents for applying for a trade license. Also, please let me know what documents I need to prepare, if possible.

First and foremost, proceed with obtaining approval for the factory building plan and also apply for a factory license from the concerned State Chief Inspector of Factories.

Firstly, where is the location of your factory? Are you going for project finance? As you stated the area of the building and premises, it shows that your setup is a big one. Mr. Khola is right. Firstly, you need to decide on your location, after which you can apply for the building plan and factory license. If you plan on renting a building, then you still need to complete all these activities.

Now we are looking to engage a labor contractor. Also, I am preparing to apply for a Factory license. Can anyone tell me what the criteria are for a good labor contractor, as we don't want to take any risks?

4. Corporation license
5. Water test report
6. Pressure vessel report
7. Certificates from the Electricity board
8. PF registration of the employer
