Sir,
My name is Ashish. I am from Ahmedabad. We have two problems:
1. Sir/Madem,
We are working in SAC-ISRO (Ahmedabad) as a FMS Operator (Computer Server Operator) under contract of PCS Technology. We are employee of PCS and PCS have a contract with SAC-ISRO. ISRO change his contract every two years, and every years we are working at same place at same post, means our company may be change but we stuck with ISRO. At year 2005-2007 ISRO have a contract with CMC Limited. He had gave him around RS.12,500/- per person including supervisor and relievers. But that time CMC gave RS.4,000/- to RS.8,000/- as seniority and experiance. That time we get over time for our worke and yearly increament, bonus etc. At year 2007-2009 ISRO make a lower one contract for his Server Operating services and gave his contract to PCS Tech who bid lower than other company (RS.7,700 per person). That time ISRO decide that ISRO doesn't give OT to FMS and any increament for FMS Engineer. At this time we get RS.4,000 to RS.5,500/- per persons as their seniority.
And Now after compeletion of PCS's contract ISRO make a new contract for year 2009-2011. ISRO make same rules as last year and decide to give his contract to a company who bid lower price per person. Now this time our salary goes down compare to last years. We heared that the contract will be of RS.6,500/- per persons, means ISRO give this amount to winning company. So after cutting their expences and profit margins we will get very low salary approximately RS.3,500 to RS.5,000/-. But as Indian market persons who worked like us get more salary than us (approx. RS.7,500 to RS.30,000/-.
So sir my question is Is There any way to get a good salary according to current market status? What will we do to break this contract of low salary? Is there any standard for basic pay for persons like us? In future if any company bid RS.2,000/- for FMS then company may be give this contract to that company and we have to worked under RS.2,000/- so there is no any rules who stop this kind of exploitation?
2. Our committee member told us that we r agree to increase your salary but you have to find out minimum basic pay structure for this kind of Computer skilled persons. They told that there are laws for minimum wages for labor/unskilled persons. So my question is that is there any government act for basic salary structure for unskilled, semi skilled, skilled persons/employee? Which type of criteria they used for define these structure.
This is very important for us because there are following contract in our organization and their salary.
Casual labor and Gardner for routine work. They get Rs. 135/- per day. And they get assurance that they will get increment of Rs. 20 to 40/- within three months.
Data Entry operator get Rs.6,000/- per month.
B.E for programming and designing get Rs. 6,500/- to Rs. 25,000/- per month.
So why they go for lower contract. We have to do much senceare work for our lab or department.
Please help us to solved this problem. My Email ID is

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been working in a Delhi private sector (Group Company) for the last 12 years. Initially, everything was going well, and salaries were paid on time. However, for the past nine months, the company created a new entity and transferred a significant amount of profit to establish a new factory. Consequently, our salaries have become irregular, lagging behind for three months and more. The company has not communicated anything to its employees, resulting in some leaving for new jobs without receiving their due payments such as salary, PF, and gratuity.
Despite the challenges, some of us are staying hopeful. While the company previously performed well, it now appears to have ulterior motives similar to Kingfisher, where there is business activity but a lack of interest shown. I seek advice on how we can assert our rights. Can the company prevent us from entering the office, terminate us without pay, or withhold our rightful payments if we decide to resign, based on Indian company regulations?
I would appreciate guidance on where we can seek support. Kindly provide a mailing address and contact information.
Thanks and regards,
Rohit

Hello sir,
I owe some money to a private company and have not received a salary for 3 months. I read the Minimum Wages Act of 1936, which states that an employer should not withhold more than 50% of the salary amount in a month. Is this applicable to private companies as well? I stay in Bangalore.

Dear Sir,
I was appointed as a Senior Admin Executive at Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd., Guwahati, H.O. - Kolkata, in May 2014 for a contract of 1 year. However, upon reviewing my appointment letter, I noticed that it stated Admin Executive as my designation. In 2015, the company's name was changed to Shristi Housing Development Ltd. from Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. There has been a minimal increment so far, but what baffles me is that my profile was changed from Admin Executive to Marketing Executive without my consent.
Furthermore, my contract was verbally renewed for another year in the capacity of Marketing Executive, but there was no salary hike or increment in the second year. Subsequently, my contract was automatically renewed again without any formal communication, and I am still working in the same profile without any salary increment.
I would like to know if there are any rules specifying the duration of an employee's contract, whether it can be for a certain number of years or for a continuous period of 1 or 2 years. Additionally, what are the laws that bind a company to pay an employee's salary into their provident fund (PF) account?
Please provide me with a response as I am considering taking legal action against the company.

Sir,
My name is Prabhakar Das from Silchar, Assam. I am currently working in NATRiP (National Automotive Training R&D Infrastructure Project), Government of India since 2009. Unfortunately, I am receiving a very low salary of Rs. 17,000. I am earning significantly less than a driver or a peon, despite being an engineer. While all other employees have been regularized and are on the central government pay scale, I am still receiving a consolidated sum. I have tried reaching out to higher authorities multiple times, but I have not received any response.
Please advise me on what steps I can take to address this issue.
