Hi All,
Greetings!
I have decided to provide training to my employees. Suggestions from your end will be very helpful for me to choose which kind of training can be given. We are working in an Automobile Company, and accordingly, training needs to be arranged for all fields.

Dear Ravi Khatri,
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the hallmark of automotive companies. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has shown the world how improving SCM or managing better relations with vendors can enhance the competitiveness of the company and thereby benefit customers. TMC has now become the number one car company in the world.
Any training that occurs should aim to enhance your SCM. However, it is much easier said than done. This is because the lack of coordination between purchase and production, purchase and sales, etc., is a hallmark of Indian manufacturers. I have observed this issue even in companies that practice the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) or have ISO 9000. Look at the Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR) of the company, and you will find evidence supporting my statement (excluding Maruti Suzuki and a few others in the automotive sector).
To address this, you first need to have your "Strategic Procurement Plan" (SPP) ready. Your Vendor Management Plan (VDP) will be a part of this SPP. To achieve this, you need to provide training on "Strategic Procurement" for your procurement professionals and involve your production team in the training.
In addition to procurement, your operations staff need training on 5S, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, etc. Your senior operations staff should be trained in "Strategic Operations Management."
I conduct extensive training programs on purchasing and inventory management. It would be my pleasure to train the staff of your company. For production staff training, I can recommend the best faculty.
To familiarize you with my training activities, I have attached my Profile and List of programs to this email. If you encounter any difficulty downloading my profile, you may click here.
