Kindly suggest a way to harmonize the salary structure. We introduced the band structure last year, but there's a problem: the salaries of some employees exceed what they should be based on their band level and designation. Please advise on how to control the band levels according to hierarchy and manage payroll accordingly.

It may not be possible to reduce the salary level in a particular band for some employees who you feel are disproportionately fixed. It is better to rationalize the pay structure across different bands for uniformity and implement a variable component based on performance.
