If any employees engage in misconduct, misbehavior, or are long absent, we take the following steps:

1) Warning
2) Fine
3) Dismissal, not exceeding 4 days
4) Discharge

For long absences, we send 3 show-cause notices to the employee.

For any legal drafting purposes or guidance on handbook content, please advise us in this matter.

Are the above steps correct? If not, please provide the steps that should be followed.

Most of the actions you have taken will not stand the test of law. Actions 2 and 3 are, may I dare say, ridiculous. (No offense meant). Three show cause notices, straight out of a joke book!!!!

You have some hard core resignation letter sample in web itself. However it wouldn’t be of much use in official terms....
