Dear Seniors,

I am working as an HR professional in an Insurance Broking Company in Mumbai. I need to hire a minimum of 50 telecallers this month. Although we have tie-ups with 7-8 placement agencies, we haven't been successful in our efforts. Could anybody please suggest how I can efficiently conduct bulk hiring of telecallers?

Hi,

Do you want to finish up all these 50 tasks? It's not the easiest task, but you can do it. First, you need to make a plan. Conduct each drive every weekend and put more effort into coordinating with agencies. Ask them to work on getting at least 10 profiles for each drive. Additionally, you should aim for a specific outcome; for every drive, ensure you get at least 15 offers.

For example, if you are working with 7 agencies, you should push them to provide 10 profiles for each drive. This way, over the weekend, you will have 65-70 profiles, a walk-in ratio of 30, and 15 offers rolled out.

Ensure you have a daily conference call meeting with your agency partners. Encourage them to make commitments and fill up any vacancies.

Thank you.

Hi,

Whenever there is a volume hiring, we need to have our sourcing plan in place. This plan must include details on direct sourcing (such as calling, SMS blasts, and employee referrals) and agency sourcing. It should be defined the numbers we aim to reach on a daily basis.

Dependency on Genesis should be minimized, and we should focus on collecting more references from walk-ins. Sourcing efforts should be aggressive to attract quality walk-ins and energize recruiters to complete the recruitment cycle. I am confident that through these activities, you will achieve your targets.

What are the telemarketing rates that you have been offering? Also, what is the job profile? Is it selling insurance or making cold calls? You may consider reaching out to call center training institutes to recruit from their recent batches.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Trupti,

In these days of technology, working with offline placement agencies is not an efficient option. With internet accessibility, candidates are searching for jobs online. Therefore, candidates are not turning to offline recruitment consultancies for jobs. Job seekers have many options for searching jobs online; among those, famous job portals include Naukri, Freshersworld, Indeed, Shine, etc.

Create an account on online job portals as a recruiter so that you can reach all those candidates who are searching for jobs online.
