I am working in a software company, and I take care of hiring as well. I would like to seek some guidance from seniors on hiring people quickly. Regarding recruitment, it currently takes me a few months to hire individuals. Can anyone suggest how to expedite the hiring process to within a month's time? I am currently seeking freshers for both IT and non-IT positions who can join us within a week. I have been reaching out to training institutes and posting jobs on job portals, yet I receive only a few responses. Can anyone recommend the most efficient way to recruit freshers and fill other positions promptly?

Hi Joylin,

Your strategy on the ways of sourcing candidates is correct. But recruitment is passive sales. It is the sales of a job. You need a proper technique on how you position your brand in the market. You need to put your best foot forward and lure candidates to apply with your organization.

Some suggestions:
- Use mass mailings and walk-in drives to recruit freshers.
- Draft a brief introduction and growth path of your organization that is factual, motivating, and lucrative.
- Brief on the healthy work culture that you have to the recruitment cell of the institutes.
- Do not forget to take references, both internal and external.
- Use correct keywords and alternative keywords while searching profiles.
- Last but not least, research the compensation offered in the market and check whether you are competitive.
