Dear GG,
If you are from Maharashtra, I want to tell you one thing: I visited the PF office yesterday regarding filling online PF contributions. However, they informed me that online submission has not started yet. Therefore, for this month, we will have to file all contributions and returns manually. If you are from another state, please visit your local PF office, and they will guide you accordingly.

Dear All,
In Karnataka, we have to file online. The only payment we have to submit is to the bank. If you have an account with SBI, you can even make payments online.
The error report is having some issues. It is not opening. However, if you enter the details correctly, there should not be any errors.

Dear All,
Attached is an Excel file that can be used to enter the data. You need to save this file as a CSV file (without including the heading line). Open the CSV file in Notepad and replace all the "," with "#~#". Copy the contents of this file into a new Notepad file and save that new file (which will be in 'txt' format). Now upload this file in the E-Sewa tool.
Regards, Swapnil

Dear Seniors,
I am trying to generate an online challan through the E-Sewa Portal. Please send me the Excel file format (some filled details as a sample) to upload on the website. I went to EPFO, and they are just saying to do it as in the document. I think it's not easy without any demo. Please let me know if I can send more details on this.
Thanks,
Murali

While converting the CSV file to Notepad, only 22 columns are there. Now, what to do?
Any column format has to be made for DOL, Reason For Leaving, etc. The row can be filled by heading or it has to be blank, or the data starts from the first row itself. Please help me. I am so confused and tensed as the last date for monthly contribution comes near.
Regards, GG.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for the information about the EPFO. I want to confirm whether the online challan can be submitted in hard copy in case of errors or anything else. In my organization, there are around 50 international workers, and their contributions are different from the other workers'. Where and when should we submit the IW1 report? How can we submit the document for the same?
Please visit epfindia.gov.in website where you can find the E-Return Tool for Employers (Ver 4.0- 04/04/2012- Changes Made List added). Click here and you'll find the DEMO (E-Return Tool) + Instruction to Use Demo. Please follow the demo instructions or refer to the user manual for more details and proceed accordingly.

Dear all
Please find the small tool for Convert Excel Spreadsheet To CSV Format file
And
2nd Method – Using Google Docs Spreadsheet for Convert Excel Spreadsheet To CSV Format file
This method is the most easiest and in fact doesn’t require any tool at all. Just head over to Google Docs and login with your Google account. Click New and select Spreadsheet.
The downside of using this tool is that only XLS format can be converted, it doesn’t support the latest XLSX format.
This will open a new window where you will find the spreadsheet. Now click File and then select Import.
You can import the following format, .xls, .xlsx, .ods, .csv, and .txt. Click choose file and select the Excel Spreadsheet you want to convert. Once importing is done, hit Open Now link.
Once your new spreadsheet is open, click File, select Download As, and choose CSV format.
Once your new spreadsheet is open, click File, select Download As, and choose CSV format.

Dear Sir,
The new E-Sewa EPF Portal is so complicated. Is it compulsory to prepare PF Challan from this website? Does SBI accept manually prepared PF Combined Challan?
We have a construction company with over 2200 employees working at more than 20 different sites in India. Hundreds of employees join and leave the job every month. I have received their wage details until the month-end. Therefore, I have prepared approximately PF Challan considering the previous month's data amounting to Rs. 25 to 26 Lac and paid it before the 15th of every month. Any differences in the challan will be prepared and paid along with the Annual PF Return.
In this case, what should I do? I am in trouble.
Kindly suggest.
