Salary fitment, whether in Aluminum Fabrication or any other organization, follows the same basic principles. First and foremost, the existing remuneration package needs to be revisited and reevaluated by management. This review should take into account factors such as the company's capacity to pay, market trends, and competitors' status.

Once a decision is reached, most organizations have a pay scale for each grade. If the pay scale has been altered, all employees must be adjusted to fit into the new structure. This adjustment can be carried out using various methods.

For example, in the old structure, for Grade 2, the pay scale was 1000 - 500 - 3500 - 600 - 6500 - 700 - 10,000 - 800 - 14,000. In the new pay structure for the same grade, it is 1500- 600 - 4500 - 700 - 8000 - 800 - 9000 - 900 - 13500 - 1000 - 18500. If an employee's existing pay in the old structure for Grade 2 is 6500/- per month, after fitting into the new pay structure, it will be 6600/- per month, and so forth.
