PF Name and Bank Account Name Should Match ?
Hi my name is Tharun Kumar B. R. in PF and Pan Card, but in bank account my name is B. R. Tharun Kumar
So PF office will reject my application ? Please share your suggestions

One will need to change the name in the PF, as without the documents, the bank account cannot be changed.
Below are the steps to have the Name or DOB changed in EPF. Also find attached the Form and the Circular for the change process.
Steps of PF Name & DOB Change
[/B]1. Download the Name & DOB correction form.
2. Fill your details and print it.
3. Sign the printed form and get it signed by your employer.
4. Get it stamped with company seal.
5. Attach the self-attested copy of identity proof with the application.
6. Now, It is the responsibility of your employer to send the application to the regional PF commissioner.
The Form is attached for your reference.

Hey Tharun,
Same situation was faced by me in last few days. I suggest you to change the name in your Bank. because your document like PANCARD have correct name and if you join the new company then they will check your name through PANCard and through No. also.
So you can concern with your Bank RM to change the name.

i read your Problem suffering from Pf problem , one solution , if Employer Verified in company letter head is Mr.xyz s/o ghj and Mr. ykk s/o ghj is same person, pf officer accepted form.and this is posaible so many case solved by pf from this process.

Hi guys thank you so much for your help, finally my name got changed in bank account, so I am gonna apply very shortly, and one more thing guys I have updated KYC details in UAN member portal (I uploaded scanned copy of PAN card) but my employer is asking update bank details in UAN members portal, So I need to upload cancelled cheque leaf in KYC section ? or is there any other way to update bank details in UAN members portal

You can update the bank account no and the IFCS code in the Bank column with the name of the bank. I also just updated the same yesterday,
