Dear All,

As we are all aware of the present industry scenario, we are planning to have some in-house training in the organization. Presently, we cannot hire any external agencies, so we are planning for some in-house training. Please suggest some training programs which HR can conduct for the employees.

Thanks and regards,

Dear Bindu,

Considering the constraints you mentioned, I can suggest the following programs that the HR team can implement:

1. Email Etiquette
2. Corporate Etiquette
3. Time Management
4. Corporate Value workshop (to reinforce the company values and culture)
5. The recruitment team can conduct an Interviewing Skills program.

The new age of a globalized economy has dawned. Gone will be the days of vertical thinking and departmental excellence - business today will now be process-driven and not function-driven - be it manufacturing, services, IT, healthcare, or education.

In an organization, work has to flow horizontally across functions – only then, different horizontal processes can collectively deliver the organizational goals of customer satisfaction, cost reduction, top and bottom-line improvement.

For achieving this, employees have to be the new change agents. The industry wants managers who can solve problems with speed, no matter which department they belong to - marketing, operations, administration, technical, or financial. In other words, performance excellence is what’s expected from the new workforce generation.

Qimpro College has designed the following Qualitist Certifications to equip you to take on these very challenges:
1. Quality Improvement
2. Process Improvement
3. Six Sigma Green Belt
4. Lean Six Sigma
5. Six Sigma Black Belt
6. Quality Manager
7. Quality Engineer
8. Reliability Engineer

This is a great place to start. Take a look at From Juran to Baldrige: Qimpro - Established in 1987 by Suresh Lulla | Professional Services: IMCRBNQA, Six Sigma, COPQ, Quality Jobs, Benchmarking, Quality Bookstore | Recognition Services: Qimpro Awards, QualTech Prize
