Hi all, plz help me in getting this issue resolve. If normal working hrs are 8 hours/day, they ot payout calculation should be as per 8 hrs or 6 hrs per day.

Dear friend,
To work out the ordinary hourly rate of wages, we have to divide the normal daily wages by the normal number of working hours per day. From that normal hourly rate of wages, we have to arrive at the O.T. rate. When you state that normal daily working hours are 8, why do you unnecessarily introduce 6 as a divider in the calculation?
