Hi everyone,

I have recently joined a new organization where I have been asked to frame a compensation policy for white-collar employees. Starting from preparing a band structure for different grades to increments and bonuses, I have to factor in everything. I have researched the site for some suggestions but have not found anything that would help me prepare the same. If anyone has worked on this, I would request help in providing certain guidelines or a format.

Looking forward to help from all members.

Compensation Policy or Structure consists of a scale of pay in various grades of pay for positions/tasks allotted to various positions. It takes into account the minimum wages applicable in that particular geographical location/place, the capacity to pay, the prevalent wages/salary around, and keeps in mind the academic qualifications, skills set, and hands-on work experience of recruits.

It is a highly specific-to-an-organization plan, and cut & paste never helps; instead, it causes irreparable damage.
