I got a new job in an insurance company, and I joined the company on 28/01/2019. I submitted all my documents as asked by the HR team, but I had submitted a salary slip showing a higher amount. After one month, I received my salary, but unfortunately, the HR team cross-verified my details with my previous employer and discovered that the salary information was forged. As a result, they sent me a notice, giving me five days to submit proof. However, I was terminated from the job.

Currently, I am interviewing with a new company, and I have not provided them with details of my previous employment. They have asked for my previous UAN number and PF number, but when I logged into my PF account, I noticed that my previous employment details are showing in the service history. Could you please advise me on how to hide my previous employment details?

If speak the truth before the interviewing authority perhaps if they are convinced they may hire you. And you should take lesson from your previous act. R R Kapoor Vadodara

Dear Friend,

If you lie once again, you will have to provide an explanation once more in the future. Therefore, please be honest with the HR team, and if they are convinced, they might consider hiring you. Otherwise, you may end up having to give explanations again.

Thank you.
