I submitted my resignation on 6th November and left the organization on 15th December after serving the notice period. It was decided by the management that there would be an appraisal meeting in December, and after that, employees would receive the incremented salary starting from November, including arrears for that month. November is the starting month for the incremented salary.

Since I departed from the organization in the middle of December, I requested to also receive the incremented salary for November and half of December.

Upon making this request, the manager informed me that there is no provision for providing an incremented salary in such a case. The manager stated that no one has ever received an incremented salary in this scenario and asked me to provide an example where this has happened. What should I do?

After the completion of the review process, the increment percentage was to be decided. I submitted my resignation after the completion of the review process but before the decision of the new salary for the whole team was taken.

However, once I submitted my resignation, the manager proposed an increment in salary. But just because I was getting a better offer, I left that organization.

You are not entitled for an increment, unless you are issued with an increment letter. Increment is at the discretion of the Management please
