We are in the process of organizational development and restructuring. We want to introduce a Saturday off policy/half-day policy in the company. However, as you all know, it is very difficult to implement a half-day/Saturday off policy in the textile sector (Home Textile), and we have over 5000 employees all over the company group.

I need HR expert advice, and if anyone has a policy, please share it with me.

You have no right to eat away your employees' weekends and put them in a jail-like atmosphere. From my 20 years of experience, I can tell you this will be the biggest disaster. While companies are shifting to a 4-day week and work from home 5 days a week, you are going in reverse to the previous decade of horrible employers. I warn you not to make your employees come in on Saturday. It's a waste of HR.

Increase half an hour time in normal working hours and put up before mgt. for approval for keeping Saturday as half day

Dear,

You may consider extending the daily working hours so that the weekly working hours of 48 are achieved. Additionally, Saturdays and Sundays could be designated as the weekly days off. The proposed working hours should be 9.30 hours instead of the current 8.00 hours.

Thank you.
