Hi,
A month ago, I attended an interview at ICICI Bank for the position of Relationship Manager - ETRG Group through a reputable consultancy firm in Mumbai. The consultant sent me an email confirming that I have been selected and requested my PAN Card and the last 3 months' salary slips. It has been over a month now, and the consultancy firm has not received any updates from the ICICI Bank HR Team. They mentioned that ICICI releases the offer letter after reviewing the CIBIL Report and conducting background verification. My CIBIL score is excellent, and my background checks are clear. Every time I reach out to the consultant, they advise me to consider other offers I may have as there is no specific timeline for receiving the offer letter. It could take a week, a month, or I might not receive it at all. I am trying to understand if it typically takes this long to release an offer letter, or should I consider this opportunity lost?
Thank you.

why do they check your CIBIL report? May be your job consultant is misleading you. Better directly communicate with ICICI if you know their HR email or look elsewhere. Pon
