Dear Sir,
This is Mahesha from GP Foods Pvt. Ltd. I have recently joined as an Executive HR in the Corporate Office cum Factory. I would like to inquire about the registers I need to maintain. Can I follow the regulations set by the Factories Act for this purpose? I am responsible for managing both the factory staff and the corporate staff, as well as the sales team.
Thank you.

Dear,
If you have a factory and a Corporate office at one location, then there is no need to go for Shop Act Licences. If your location does not fall within the Municipality or corporation area, then an NOC from the Grampanchayat is required. In such a case, you have to maintain all Registers under the factory Act, including the OT Register, Leave Register, Attendance Muster, Adult and Child labour register, Medical fitness Register, etc.

Dear Mahikichcha,
As you are a fresher in the profession, you need to learn the acts of the State as well as the Factory Act. After gaining basic knowledge, you have to maintain all registers related to the Factory Act, such as the Muster Roll, Adult Worker Register, Leave with Wages Register, National Festival and State Holidays Register, Lime Washing Register, and Inspection Register.
Under the Minimum Wages Act, you have to maintain the Wages Paid Register and Fine Register.
Regarding the Bonus Act, you need to handle Form C & D.
Ensure an abstract is displayed at the main entrance under the Maternity Act, Payment of Wages Act, Gratuity Act, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Factory Act.
Review the company's policies on Discipline, Advances, Tours, Leaves, Canteen, Guests, etc. This understanding will assist you in your daily activities without the need to seek guidance.
For disciplinary actions, refer to the Standing Orders, if available. If not, suggest to management to create them. This step will clarify the definition of misconduct and the corresponding actions.
I hope the above guidance will aid you in your new role. Best of luck.

I want to know:
1) What is the procedure for a merger?
2) What is the procedure for changing the name concerning PF, ESIC, WC, MPCB, and other government offices?
3) What are the documents and forms required regarding the above acts?
Kindly suggest me.

Dear Sir,
This is Mahesha from GP Foods Pvt. Ltd. I have recently taken on the role of Executive HR in the Corporate Office cum Factory. I need guidance on maintaining the necessary registers for both the factory and corporate office.
Firstly, I need to determine whether the factory license and approved plans cover the area designated for office use. If the office area is included, then all records must be maintained according to the Factory Act, as a part of the factory. This means that all rules, including work hours, will apply.
If the corporate office part is excluded from the factory layout, then I will need to keep the registers under the Shop and Establishment Act. In my role, I am responsible for managing the Factory staff, Corporate staff, and Sales team.
Your guidance on the specific registers that need to be maintained in this dual setup would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
