I have implemented Employee code system in our organisation. According to that we have issued appointment letter & ID card to all employee but in case any employee resign then how do I maintain the employee code system.
Example I have given 04 employee code to X & he has resigned then how the employee system will implemented.
Please advise

Hi What kind of system you have implemented? Are you using any kind of Software, maintaining manual record system or anything like. Please share more.

In general, the number once given should not be reallocated to someone else
Whether you need to issue it to someone who already left is for u to decide taking into account what the numbers are used for

Dear Sujata,
You have to give new no. for the employee who joins. Moreover don't assign the same no. of the employee who had resigned to the new employee.
Moreover you can have the employee code and the PF no(if applicable) same so that it will be easy for you to track the details easily.
Eg: If your company name is XYZ LTD, Then you can assign the employee code as X00001. For the same employee you can create the PF no as 1.
