Dear Friends,
I hope you are doing well. Our company has decided to maintain a diary in which each and every employee, from the Office Assistant to a manager, has to mention their daily tasks done at the workplace or any suggestions for new ideas.
I am working on it, but I also need your help. So, if you think you have anything different or new to suggest, please spare a few moments and share your ideas. I will be very thankful to all of you.
Thanks!

The idea of maintaining a diary is to monitor & improve performance, right?
Instead of recording what they do/have done, I suggest asking them to write a Happy Note in the diary. This means that, according to them, they must write at least two good things that happened to them in the workplace every day. This will automatically focus them on the positive side of work, and by conditioning over a period of a few months, they will automatically look for positive benefits in the workplace.
In turn, this will automatically increase efficiency, effectiveness, cooperation, competence, collaboration, enthusiasm, and the joy of being a part of the organization.

What is the purpose of maintaining a diary?
I think you want to know what your employees are doing. I suggest implementing a Daily Activity Report system in your company to understand:
- Who is doing what?
- What are the employee's plans?
- What is the work efficiency of the employees?
- How much work is being done?
Feel free to contact me for any queries.
Thanks,
Dharamkant

Hi Guys,
I saw the diary for 2010 format just now, and it was quite good. It will be quite effective overall in the industry. It is also quite effective at the supervisor level. If you have any other formats like these, please inform everyone.

Hi,
Maintaining a diary is a good system. At the same time, employees should be informed about the importance of maintaining one. There should be continuous review and feedback.
In our company, we have implemented a system where we order special customized diaries for employees at all levels. We review their progress and provide feedback every month. This approach helps us redirect employees' focus towards the organization's goals. The diary format can vary for different levels of employees based on their roles and activities.
