Questions related to the HR Generalist profile are given below. These questions were asked by the interviewer during my interview:

1. Do you know about statutory compliance?
2. How much is the contribution for PF by the employee and employer in both cases?
a. If there is a pension scheme
b. If there is no pension scheme
3. Which form is used for PF nomination and withdrawal?
4. What are the rules for gratuity and how do you calculate it?
5. Why do we use Form 10c?
6. Which form is used for ESIC nomination?
7. What are the ESIC norms in an organization?

I hope these questions will help you prepare for an HR Generalist interview.

Thanks and regards,
Vivek

Dear Vivek,

I would like to suggest some important points that every younger HR professional should consider. The points mentioned below are not necessarily connected to an HR Generalist profile. When discussing an HR Generalist profile, it should focus on the following points:

1) PMS
2) Capability Development
3) Employee Engagement
4) OD
5) Career Planning & Succession Management
6) SPOs, etc.

The points mentioned below are related to Statutory compliances/establishments.
