Dear Komila

In the present world boss culture has gone and Manager culture also gone and at present the leader concept also becoming outdated and Mentor concept is getting entrance in all the industries. But practically the above is only on conceptual basis, and implemented in papers.

There is a saying "Survival of the Fittest". You must change yourself to get acquainted with the work culture and behavioural culture adopted in your company. Then only you can survive in any company.

If someone criticising you means you are growing in that organisation, take the essence of the criticism and work on it. get cleared yourself.

First learn the work, try to do it yourself. If you become master in your work only then you can teach others and your subordinates are also will listen to you.

Daily Morning you can practise some Yoga to keep your mind cool for the entire day. If you find some difficulty in doing the work or in understanding the nature of work never feel hesitate to enquire about the same to your immediate boss. If you ask the doubt you have to feel shame for one time but if you do not ask you must feel shame everytime whenever you are being instructed to do. Initial period will be tough in any company. Even our colleagues will feel us as their competitor.

Have it in mind, Except you, no one can demotivate you and hurt you. Never allow anyone to hurt you.

Wishing you all the success and all the best dear.

Dear Komila,
I feel you are undergoing ragging phase which is often faced by new employees. :)
I may like to add the following few points for effective stress management.
1. Leave your stress at office, do not carry to home.
2. Love your work, I mean do your work like you are doing it for yourself or for your family.
3. Read jokes.
4. Share your problems with friends by speaking your heart out.
5. Practice yoga.
6. Never worry about others, worry about yourself.
7. Have sound sleep.
This may help you.

Dear Komila,
First of all, i appreciate your willingness to stop feeling the way you feel right now, coz that shows you have the courage to take up the challenge :)
The sheer will to feel good will help you feel good !!

I completely agree with Mr. S.Bhaskar when he says, "If someone criticising you means you are growing in that organisation." Coz this means you are important enuf to get their attention.

I was in similar situation when i joined, but as i stand today, after just 4 months, things have changed, for good.
I will share with you certain points that have helped me as i walked my path:
1. Identify your purpose of being a part of this firm, and ask yourself of what you need to do everyday in order to reach that as nicely as possible. Put it down on paper - this will give you clarity.
2. Following the first point will hardly leave you with time to think on what others think about you.
3. Remember, you are here to perform, and grow, as a professional and as a person. More the variety in experiences, better will be your growth path.
4. Tell yourself that you are answerable to your boss, and not to those annoying subordinates. If they don't like the way you work, or keep bulling you, it becomes your problem only when you take it on your mind. Till then, it remains their problem, not yours :)
5. I ll share with you what Sachin Tendulkar once said:
"Some people who cant do certain things themselves, talk. So one should let them talk. I prefer to listen to those who matter to me."

You, sincerely, have no time to be wasted on such petty things..
Live this life, not everyone gets one :)

Warm Regards,
Kirtan...

Hi
I suggest u keep doing your work sincerely. Ignore the others around you. Your hard work has to get its due recognition. Its only a matter of time. Take care of yourself. In short "mind your own business !"

Hello Komila,
many people have given you so many useful tips. while you have probably already understood a lot about how to equip yourself, i would like to share my experience here.
ask yourself and identify your strengths and weaknesses. first do this for yourself.
now repeat this process by asking your real friends or brothers or sisters or parents, just anyone who will be genuine in their approach.
this will help you understand how people perceive you. hope you find this useful.
Good luck
warm regards,
