Hi, This is Preeti.
I want to know how I can switch from a recruitment executive to an HR Generalist profile. How many years of experience does it require, and what kind of knowledge does it demand? Please suggest if any other course is also required in addition to an MBA.
Thanks.

Dear Preethi,
Being a Human Resource Generalist offers a promising future. No special qualifications are necessary, but you should focus on developing yourself in core HR activities such as Statutory Compliance, File Management, Leave Management, Payroll, Full and Final Settlements, and much more.

Dear Preeti,
As per my concern regarding recruitment, an MBA is not required. Those who have completed Xth and have experience can perform the work. Therefore, focus on developing yourself in core HR activities such as Labour Law, IR, PR, T&D, Payroll, Decision-making, Leadership, Negotiation skills, understanding the current market status, and Administration.
If you are interested, you can pursue LLB. This combination will enhance your resume and elevate your position in HR recruitment.
